Deluxe Version of “Over” has a bonus DVD!

DOWN has just released a “deluxe edition” of its critically acclaimed third album, “Over the Under”. The deluxe package (see cover below), which was made available as a Best Buy exclusive, includes a DVD with over 30 minutes of previously unreleased live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. The album was released on Down Records in conjunction with Warner Music Group‘s Independent Label Group (ILG).

Blabbermouth user erock85 comments on the Deluxe Version contents, stating that the DVD has “1 music type video, 2 rehearsals (1 nola, 1 over the under), 3 live songs from II”. Also a video from the “recording process of one of the songs off Over the under from the studio”.

DOWN frontman Philip Anselmo (ex-PANTERA) revealed in a recent online post that DOWN has recorded at least six new songs for a possible new CD which may also include previously unreleased material from the “Over the Under” sessions.

DOWN has landed the coveted support slot on the upcoming METALLICA U.S. tour starting October 21 in Glendale, Arizona. The band will also play select headline shows between METALLICA dates.
